White Chocolate Covered Ritz Crackers for Valentine's Day

Author:
Ingredients
  • 1 jar Jiffy Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1 box of Ritz Crackers
  • 1 pkg white chocolate wafers
  • 1 pkg red candy melts
Instructions
  1. Melt the red candy melts in a microwave safe bowl at 30 second intervals, stirring often. Once melted, place red chocolate in a piping bag and form hearts by squeezing small amounts of chocolate on a sheet of waxed paper in the shape of a" V", using more pressure at the start of the "V" and releasing as you move toward the tip. Allow to cool until firmly set.
  2. Spread peanut butter on one cracker. Top the cracker with a second cracker and form a sandwich.
  3. Repeat this process until you have as many sandwiches as you want. Set aside and prepare the chocolate.
  4. Melt your white chocolate wafers in a microwave safe bowl at 30 second intervals, stirring well after each interval. DO NOT OVERHEAT! Overheating your chocolate will cause it to curdle.
  5. Once chocolate is melted, dip peanut butter sandwiches in the bowl of chocolate, using a fork to turn and coat. Once coated, tap to remove excess chocolate and place onto a sheet of wax paper.
  6. While white chocolate is still very soft, place a hardened red candy melt heart on the center of each cracker. Allow to set completely. Enjoy!
